What is the Youth AI Forum?

The Youth AI Forum is a one-day educational program designed for high school students, focusing on education in artificial intelligence, media literacy, and critical thinking. It provides hands-on activities and mentorship from university faculty and college student mentors, fostering informed decision-making and responsible media consumption.

Who can participate in the Forum?

The Forum is open to high school students ages 15 and older. No coding or previous AI experience is required.

What activities are included in the program?

Students will participate in an interactive AI Media Forensics Lab built around three steps: DETECT → ANALYZE → JUDGE. They will investigate AI-generated and manipulated media, examine misinformation and bias, and use evidence and critical thinking to decide what to trust, question, and share.
